Birthday Party

posted on Menopause in

May 8th, 2010

I am just getting in some birthday party supplies. It is such fun as my baby is just a year old and so it is the first child’s party that I have ever had to organise. This is a slightly complicated one as there will be Mums with babies there but there will also be relatives without children and so I need it to have some sophistication too. I am going to a party supplies shop to get banners and balloons but have decided to make most of the food for grown-ups. Despite the baby Seuss theme of the invitations, I plan to do champagne and salmon for the grown up guess with salmon mousse sandwiches and fairy cakes for the children. I think it will be fun doing something more grown up as the children will mainly be too young to really understand what is going on, so I think it will be a nice excuse for us grown-ups to have a good time. I am sure by next year it will be all party games and jelly but I have decided to have some fun for the grown-ups as well as the children this year.Relevant blogs:
