It is usually the Thought That Counts

If you are in a relationship that is just starting out, it doesn’t hurt to get her a few things that solidify the connection between the two of you. Usually that first birthday and that first anniversary are important instances where you need to prove to her the kind of man you really are. If you don’t quite have the income to buy her something extravagant, cubic zirconia rings and chocolate will still sweep her off her feet. During a new relationship, all she is looking for is for you to actually remember the days that are important to the two of you.
You simply need to show her that you care about her and she will be delighted with whatever you get her. With that said, when you are ready to get serious, a cheap promise ring will do the trick as well. We are too into getting expensive symbols of love, but that’s not what she is usually looking for. All she wants is a committed man and if you are that person, she should be lucky to have you.
So don’t look down on cheap CZ jewelry because when it really counts, you will have saved enough money to start that family you have always wanted.

Getting Fit

posted on Menopause in

July 10th, 2010

I am trying hard to get fit after having my baby. I was not worried for the first few months, but now I feel back to normal, I need to start eating sensibly and getting some exercise as well. I have put on quite a bit of weight because I ate too much when I was pregnant and so I really want to get it off. Luckily by pushchair is a baby jogger so I have no excuse for not going out running and taking the baby with me. We have a nice park nearby which I am sure would be fun to run around and there may even be a mums group that already go there that I could join up with. I want to treat myself to some new Wacoal bras and other clothes but I would like to lose some weight first. I have decided that if I keep up healthy eating and go for a jog a few times in a week then I will treat myself to some phyto products and then once I get my weight down, I can get some nice new clothes. Being able to fit in something which is not very loose or maternity clothing is acting as great encouragement at the moment.
